Weekend Recap

Happy Monday! I spent the weekend doing a lot of the things I love the most: window shopping, drinking lots of coffee, reading, cuddling with the delinquent pups & sleeping/lounging around. Ahhh weekends are where its at.  If you follow me on Instagram, you've most likely seen most of today's pictures.

I got up Saturday and decided to get some mild cardio in so naturally I went to the mall. #DUH.  I love this time of year when all the fall clothes are out. I had to exercise SERIOUS self control to not overdo it. It was a good couple of hours wearing workout clothes (yeh, I mean, I COULD have just come from the gym-you don't know) and steaming hot coffee in tow.
I had the HARDEST time choosing which scarf to buy. They were each 30% off thanks to Gap's fabulous sale. The one of the left is that really soft winter fabric and the colors were FANTASTIC. But then the one on the right is thick and oversized and I was drawn to it immediately. I took a poll on instagram and everyone voted the left. I was still torn. So, whoopsies, they both came home with me.

As I was headed to Anthropologie, I saw this sign. GREAT. I know where I'll be every Saturday. There goes the Paleo down the tubes.
Had a nice little visit with the sweater a friend has been lusting over. She hasn't even seen it in person so I decided to check it out to see if it was everything she's been dreaming of. Good Lawd, its even better. SO soft and thick you literally would have a hard time peeling me out of this sucker.  So it looks like there might be two of us lusting over this.

Also spotted these adorable iPhone cases at Anthropologie. Pretty sure that's my little niece, Riley the Lady, doing some modeling in her spare time.
THIS gorgeous weekly calendar/mousepad came home with me.  I just love Rifle Paper Co. and their throwback to illustrations of the past. I LOVE this calendar because it has forced me to actually sit down and plan out the week. As you can see, I didn't get very far with that, but I'm working on it.

Excuse the blurry picture, but I had to share. This Spiced Milk Candle is incredibly good. I would love to add that to my usual mix. Do yourself a favor and grab one.

If someone were to ask me what a dream come true would be for me, I'ld answer "This table." Get rid of the hokey tarot card jazz and leave the Capri Blue Candles and I couldn't ask for more. Do you see those giant grandaddy blues sitting back there? That is the good life-on a table.
Later I popped into Barnes and Noble just to browse. CLEARLY, I had to buy the new Domino. It is everything I've been waiting for after all these years. I literally read this from cover to cover and will probably do it again this week. Incredibly good. Also, I'm about 1/3 into the book "Where'd You Go Bernadette." I've been seeing good reviews for this and I can see why. It has sucked me in and I still don't know what in the world is going on. So far, I recommend it!

I LOVE browsing the new cookbook section.  Not that I actually use them to cook, but I sure do like looking through them.  This one looks fun!

I can't wait to hear the reviews on this one. Several of you out there are probably doing a happy dance just looking at this because this is right up your alley. I have about 4 people in mind specifically!  IF you are a particular family member of mine and you fall into this group, might I suggest you not purchase this as Christmas is quickly approaching? Ahuummmm that is all.
