Happy Saturday, kittens!!!
I honestly didn't think I would make it to today (hello dramatic )!
So in honor of making it through newjob training hell week #1, I decided it was time to treat myself to a little DIY. And by DIY, I mean, assembling a piece of furniture to help spruce up the place. So I got up early and set out for the place that somehow calms my anxious mind...IKEA. Yeh, I said it.
By 11am, I was headed home with a few goodies that've had my eye on for quite some time.
Before I share the final product, I should share that I've been lusting over all of the bar carts that are floating around the blog world. I mean, how can anyone look at these and not want me for themselves?
For quite some time, I've been on the hunt for something that fits the spot I've had earmarked. Ive been scouring all my favorite websites: Craig's list, eBay, Joss & Main and a few antique shops, but nothing really felt right.
And then out of nowhere, I found the perfect table in a VERY unexpected place...the children's furniture area in IKEA. Believe it or not, this is actually designed to be baby changing table. BOOM, that just happened!!! I thought it over for a few weeks just to be sure that I hadn't lost my mind because, let's get real here, I'm considering putting booze on a table meant to change diapers.
So without further adieu, allow me to introduce you to the new addition to my house (and this baby will let me sleep through the night).
I have a question, with all of these knick knacks in your house, do you dust like everyday? Or how do you keep everything looking so clean?
