Bedroom Updates

So now that I have some time on my hands {temporarily}, you can expect a more consistent posting schedule.

BOOM THAT JUST HAPPENED.

Apparantly I'm really into the white and bright concept these days.

This has been a gradual process.

I blame my favorite blogs like The Everygirl and a whole lotta pinterest for turning my eyes in this direction.

I've always loved the idea of a bed with lots of layers and big fluffy pillow that beg for you to run and jump into.

And from a really early age  {old enough to think about things like this}, I have always had all white linens.

Bleach, people.

Makes everything feel so much cleaner!

And slowly but surely, that love of white just infiltrated itself into my bedroom with little punches of color here and there.

It's still a work in progress {DYING for a tufted upholstered headboard-one day} but here she is as of last weekend...

I added the bedside tables last weekend.
These suckers were Ikea STEALS!!
To be honest, I've eyed these for years.
$20 a pop...How do you say no to that?




I love having little feminine bowls scattered all around.
 I tend to come home and immediatley take off all my jewelry.
There's ALWAYS somewhere to put it!!

Also, I adore that watercolor print.
My great grandmother painted that when she was young.
I asked for it when I was a LITTLE girl and got it as a Christmas gift years later.

This has actually been updated since the weekend, but I love having the jewelry I wear most frequently in a central place.
